Assessment of Organization Readiness in the Implementation of Change Management (Case Study: PT. IMS)

PT. IMS is one of the local companies, classified as medium enterprises, that produce bottled drinking water and distribute its products in Aceh province area. The CEO initiated a change implementation, namely digital transformation business process Phase 1, by upgrading their management software system. purpose this for to be digitized, more efficient faster, order close customers accurately analyze customer’s expectations. This research aim assess Organizational readiness before implementing it, assessed based on McKinsey 7S elements factors. collected data information using qualitative method conducting depth interview with company managers every departments, desk also conducted support results. After doing thematic analysis, result shows stated ready line all elements. Moreover, if we dig deeper 14 element’s factor, them rated not ready, organizational culture. rest it 7 (consist Goals/Objectives, Strategic Plan, Size, IT infrastructure, Training & Education, Staff Skills, Share Belief) still need minor improvement 6 (Centralization, Data, Top Management Support, Project Team, skills Company-wide Commitment) are go ahead. researcher propose several solution could do increase level change, consist create communication plan, facilities schedule monitoring launch new policies training list, plan continuous socialization events. proposed better use Kotter’s 8 steps model strategy ensure successfulness.
